Miss Pam

From the age of 4 to 19, Pam was a student at the Helen Peacock School of Dance in Fort Erie, Ontario. She was examined in the Cecchetti Ballet and Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA) in tap and jazz.

During her academic years at the University of Waterloo, Pam completed the Fitness Instructor Specialist Course and taught aerobics in her free time.

After university, Pam relocated to Atikokan and taught at the Atikokan Dance Club.  During this time she took the CDTA teachers exams in tap and jazz and became a full member in both dance disciplines.  Pam started her own dance school, the “Northern Lights School of Dance”, offering tap, jazz and ballet to students ages 5 through adult.

In 2001 Pam moved to Thunder Bay and started teaching tap, jazz and ballet at the Fay Gleeson Dance Centre.  In 2003 she became a full member of the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (PAEC) in tap and jazz.  In 2010 she became a CDTA full member in ballet after passing the teacher’s exam.

Today Pam is currently teaching ballet and lyrical, and taking dance classes in tap, Irish tap and Zumba!
