COVID-19 Update: February 17, 2021

Saturday morning classes will remain virtual (for now)

After much consideration we have decided to keep teaching our Saturday morning classes online.

Public health guidelines for the Red Zone limit the number of dancers and family members that can be in the building. With so many of our young dancers doing back-to-back classes, and families with more than one dancer joining us each week, our options were limited. So, while we’re excited to meet in person again soon, we believe this is the best and safest option for our dance family.

We hope that the consistency of keeping classes online for now will make it less confusing for you and your dancer. You can continue to use the same link to access their Zoom classes! (Just send us an email at faygleesondance@gmail.com if you need that link again.)

We know this has been difficult for our dancers and we share your disappointment that we cannot return to the studio this week as we had hoped. But we’re so thankful that we can still see all of their smiling faces every Saturday morning!

COVID-19 Update: January 11, 2021

Due to the extended COVID-19 lockdown, we will not be able to re-open this week as planned.

Classes will resume via Zoom, beginning Saturday, January 16th.

You will receive an email link from your teacher, and it should be in your inbox no later than 2 days before class. If you have not received an email within 24 hours of your scheduled class time, please reach out to us via email at faygleesondance@gmail.com

So start looking for a dance space that will give your dancer some room (and give you some quiet time!). We recognize that space is the hard part so all classes will be geared to a smaller spaces. We can all agree this is not the best, but it is what we need to do to keep moving forward. And if nothing else, it will break up really boring weeks!

We understand that you might be disappointed, but we must follow the guideline and we know you as parents would not want it any other way. Your dancer's safety and health is always our first priority as they are very special to us as well.

COVID-19 Update: December 22, 2020

Happy holidays FGDC family!

We were hoping to return the week of January 4th, but given the new Ontario lockdown, classes will not resume until the week of the 11th.

If there are any changes we will post here on our website, as well as on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Please do not hesitate to email us at faygleesondance@gmail.com or send us a direct message on Facebook if you have any questions. (Note: the studio and office are now closed for the holidays, and nobody will be in to take calls or retrieve messages.)

From our dance home to your home, Merry Christmas! We can't wait to see everyone in 2021!

COVID-19 Update (April 17, 2020)

Attention Dancers & Families!

As you know, we were hoping to re-open the studio on May 2. Unfortunately, that will not be possible, and we will have to remain closed until at least May 16.

It is with heavy hearts that we are letting you know that our recital on May 7 will not take place as scheduled. We are hopeful that we will be able to resume classes and get back to doing what we love! We are keeping in touch with our friends at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium about the possibility of rescheduling the recital if the city starts to re-open next month.

A reminder that the Saturday morning recital routines are available on video format. Please email the studio at faygleesondance@gmail.com or message us on Facebook or Instagram if you would like the link for your dancer’s videos.

We miss each and every one of you, and can’t wait until we can dance together again!

Until then, please stay healthy and safe!
Miss Fay 💗💜

COVID-19 Update (April 1)

An update for our wonderful dance family,

As much as we were hoping to get back into the studio this weekend, we have decided that our new tentative start date will be Saturday, May 2nd.

We understand that this leaves many wondering when our recital will be. Fay has been in contact with the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium and they are looking into a date in June - stay tuned!

Reminder for Saturday morning classes: if your dancer would like to practice their recital dance, don’t forget to private message on Facebook or Instagram, or email us at faygleesondance@gmail.com for the link!

We hope everyone is staying healthy, washing their hands, practicing social distancing, and most importantly... dancing! 💜💗
